Stubbs House Country Manor

Positive: Really spacious, comfortable stay. Plenty of crockery, glassware and kitchen equipment for everyone staying. Lots of different spaces for groups to spend time together. Hot tubs were great. Garden was fully enclosed so dogs could be let off to run around safely. Plenty of easy parking for multiple cars.

Over all a very pleasant stay with plenty to keep everyone occupied. Positive: It was all lovely the games room was great. Plenty of space so we wasn't on top of eachother. Facilities good. Negative: Internet not great on the tv. A can opener so we could open the cans.

Comfortable stay Positive: Great venue for a large group of people. Well equipped, quiet and comfortable. Negative: Some of the bathrooms could do with being updated. Some issues with hot water, radiators and showers.

Overall I would recommend Stubbs House as an excellent venue for a family get together Positive: The size of the house and garden was great as were the amenities and games. Negative: The plague of hornets. The ensuite in bedroom 1 - the shower was ineffective to regulate the temperature resulted in a slow dribble: the sink tap produced only cold water: the floor was filthy in the corner.

A stylish escape, perfect for large gatherings Positive: Lovely property which initially felt like a maze when we first arrived but we soon got used to all the turns and doors. Certainly spacious enough for a party of 20 with very comfortable beds and very clean on arrival. Beautiful surroundings which was a short walking distance from Loddon. Negative: The two internal doors leading to the kitchen from the front door didn't keep open for long which made carrying our luggage, taking the bins out and simply moving round the property quite annoying. The stereo / sound system in the 'party room' was a little outdated so we were thankful someone bought a portable speaker with them.
