Lydney House Hotel Swaffham

Lovely property Positive: Thia property is stunning and perfect for a celebration. Very clean, very much as described and so spacious. The hot tubs were ready on our arrival, the rooms were lovely. But its a lovely property and I'd go back if possible Negative: The only thing I think that could be improved is I do feel the check out time should be later. I appreciate staff need to clean but perhaps additional cleaning staff should be hired to reduce the workload and then checkout could be at least 10.30 but ideally midday. It isnt a huge thing but it would eliminate stress etc. Also the ensuites are great but the showers are very small and narrow

Overall myself and my family found the rooms satisfactory having en-suite rooms. The property overall we felt was in need of updating and a little tired in places and for the cost of the stay felt there could have been more attention to detail and could have provided basic condiments such as salt and pepper and a few coffee pods etc. Also the check in and out times varied in the different information sent and was not made clear. Enjoyed the use of having two jacuzzis but overall would not return.

Property, facilities and location all excellent and match the descriptions. The house was quite musty when we checked in as it had been closed up in some hot weather, so be prepared to get all the windows and doors open. Once that had been done and we put a few diffusers in the cellar all was good.Everything is very well stocked and the hot tubs are lovely.Perfect set up for our group

A stunning property perfect for a large gathering. The rooms were all excellent and the whole space just made it a perfect stay.

Hired the house out for 3 nights for a 40th birthday, 22 people age range 3 - 70, everyone enjoyed themselves and very pleased with the facilities would definitely book again.
