The Retreat cabin in the woods

Positive: We had a fantastic stay at the cabin in the woods! It was spotless, well-equipped, and made for a very comfortable and relaxing experience. We’re already looking forward to the chance to return! Negative: -

It was such a peaceful getaway! I felt rested while being away and the fact it is away from everything makes it all the Positive: It was so peaceful and brilliant for the dogs. Everything you needed available Negative: Nothing

Charming. Book for longer than one night or you won’t have time to take it all in… Positive: The cabin is charming. Lovely views all round. Negative: I neglected to read all the texts the hosts sent me with instructions on how / where to gain access and find the keys. Whatever you do READ them. Don’t rely on the postcode and messages from Booking.com and don’t expect your hosts to pick up the phone. I called at around 4pm Sat. No one answered.

The perfect few days away in the perfect cabin. Positive: We loved our stay at the cabin in the woods. The cabin was clean, homely and welcoming. The host had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We can’t wait to return. Negative: We loved everything.
