3 Bure River Lodge Houseboat

Fantastic weekend Positive: Location was stunning and very relaxing. Saw Heron, swans, Kingfisher, comerant and perch in and on the river right outside the houseboat. Beds were so comfy! Negative: When I first arrived the boat was freezing but it warmed up overnight. Traffic on main road can be loud at times but it didn't affect the wildlife we saw.

Relaxing and calming Positive: The information signs From the start you are informed of everything you need to know about access to the houseboat (parking/keys/trolly) to clear instructions on using water/electric/wifi Everything you need is there from kitchen equipment to bedlinen and towels. The site was immaculately maintained.

Positive: Such an amazing accommodation. Blew us away Negative: Nothing at all

Enjoyed the location but very disappointed about the property not having a balcony as shown in the pictures. Spoilt our Positive: The location was good Negative: Felt it was falsely advertised as having a balcony because on the photographs they showed it to have a balcony with a table and chairs. Although some of the houseboats had this the one we were in only had a Juliet balcony which they did not state in the information . We were highly disappointed with this as the object of the trip was to fish from that balcony which we couldn’t do.

Loved going to Norfolk, wanted to stay somewhere different felt a bit deflated Positive: The river was nice, fishing by the boat house as you can't fish opposite, seeing the swans Negative: The noisy road, The mouldy shower, the toilet seat moved and lid kept falling off, no protection on key if dropped in river, overall cleanliness
