7 Yare River Lodge Houseboat

Very relaxing enjoyable with lovely views. Positive: Lovely location very peaceful easy access to other places and shops and a lovely pub within walking distance. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Lodge was comfortable and had all basic equipment also able to BBQ if you either take your own or buy disposable. We have recommended to friends and is a place we would go back to Negative: Not really a question of what we didn't like but I know this site has only recently been taken over and some conversation with staff the new owners have a lot of plans, however if you do not book a lodge with a balcony of which only 4 out of the 8 have balcony then you're very limited for fishing on the site. It would be nice for some fishing pegs to be put into place and also if the walk on the grounds which is shown on the map was re done so you can walk instead of it being completely over grown with nettles etc just past the last lodge that would be nice. Not complaining as we enjoyed our stay just a couple of little pointers that we found and also conversation with other guests at the time we were there

Pleasant and clean inside. Good location, but needing some attention on the lodges exteriors and gro Positive: The houseboat was clean inside and the location was good. It was easy to access and overall a pleasant stay. Negative: The outside of the houseboat facing the bank could/ should have been cleaned - it gave the impression of the company little caring for their facilities. The grass should have been mowed and the wooden planks leading to each Lodge need to be checked.
