Overnight in the Dales for Friends Private View Positive: Small room but fine for one night. If it was bad weather, nowhere to sit inside. Negative: Small, no cooking facilities, small windows, laco of light.

We ahd Positive: Location ideal. Excellent standard of fittings. Negative: Could do with a fan in the bathroom and a doorbell. We were not in the apartment much but we had 2 delivery men to the door and the chap who was working in the house but it was very difficult to hear them knock when the upstairs door was closed.

Very pleasant and enjoyable stay. Positive: The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. Negative: We were not given advanced information on how to access the property and it was just by look that the owner was visiting at the same time as we arrived and was able to give us the code to the external wall mounted key safe.

Positive: Beautiful modern and clean room in an amazing village. Negative: Nothing.

Small hotel room, comfortable and clean for one night bu Positive: Great location and neatly decorated. Checkin instructions were helpful. Negative: The property is described as dog friendly however they are not permitted on the furniture which we can understand. We’d taken our dog’s bed with us but the room is so small and storage very limited therefore it was really difficult to actually fit everything in (even for one night). The bedding although luxurious was far too thick for this time of year and ventilation in the property fairly poor. There were no coat hooks or place to put wet clothing, which considering this property will likely be used by lots of walkers seemed like a mistake.
